ARLINGTON, Va. — October 17, 2026 — Kitchen & Bath Masters, a design and remodeling firm based in Arlington, Virginia, has published cost and timeline guidance for kitchen remodeling to help homeowners in Arlington, Fairfax, and Montgomery counties and Washington, D.C. plan and budget their projects before construction begins.
According to the company, minimal kitchen renovations typically cost $10,000 to $20,000 and may cover appliances, countertops, flooring, and cosmetic cabinet updates. Mid-range remodels generally fall between $40,000 and $60,000, while full remodels range from about $20,000 to more than $100,000 depending on scope. Custom cabinetry is usually the largest single expense, often $15,000 to $30,000 or more. Layout changes, plumbing and electrical work, permits, and conditions found after demolition can add to the total.
A full kitchen remodel typically takes four to 12 weeks, and custom cabinet lead times can add a similar window. The company recommends finalizing the layout before demolition, since changes made later can increase both cost and schedule. Projects can also be completed in stages, and many homeowners continue living at home during construction with planning.
Isa Pehlivan, Company Representative at Kitchen & Bath Masters, said: “Most homeowners come to us with a budget in mind but no clear sense of where the money goes. When we walk through cabinetry, countertops, and layout choices at the start, they can decide what matters most to them before anything is ordered.”
Homeowners can choose from cabinet lines including Fabuwood, Waypoint, J&K Cabinetry, Starmark Cabinetry, TA Cabinetry, 21st Century Cabinets, and Vita Cabinetry. Countertop options include Cambria, Silestone, MSI, and Venezia quartz, granite, and Dekton surfaces. Energy-efficient lighting, appliances, and water-saving faucets are also available.
Each project follows four steps: a free design consultation, design approval, construction by the company’s team, and a final walkthrough with the homeowner. Kitchen projects can be coordinated with bathroom work, including the custom bathroom vanities the company recently introduced for Arlington-area homes.
Kitchen & Bath Masters has received Best of Houzz recognition in 2020, 2021, 2023, and 2024. Homeowners can schedule a free consultation at the Langston Boulevard showroom or by calling (703) 300-4703.
